The 400 blows micro elements

The micro elements conclude of:
- mise en scene (setting, costume, hair and make up, character expression/ movement, props and lighting )
- cinematography
- sound
- editing

In the mise en scene the final scene in The 400 Blows
-  the setting is a natural place of the school field going to the surrounding of country side and then the final place beach. Shows the ending of land could represent ending of his story but left unknown to destination
- character expression and movement- running away sense of escape and the final shot showing his confusion and unknown look in his face.
- lighting- all natural light shows the realism of a normal day light, not needing any effect from the lighting
- costume this is also a normal day to day outfit a ordinary boy would be wearing as it's more in the plot and engaging the audience with the character
-props- props are used mainly in the setting and no great significance
hair and make up- is also like the costume, simple so the character not over developed

cinematography in the final scene is:

An extreme wide shot of the boy running which is also a long shot to engage with the character, takes the audience on the journey.
extreme wide shot puts the setting into play and shows the loneliness.
Also, a extreme close up at the end which zooms into the characters expression of confusion and no further plan, but could be relief.

editing-

when the long wide shot the edit of putting that into perspective to make the scene on going as if we are running with them.
Also editing the different shots together before the long extreme shot to show how he gets away and the different setting of the country side to see how isolated it it

sound

theres non diegetic sound of the instrumental sounds which build up tension to the audience and they can hear it. The anticipation as it speeds up with the running and ends louder when last shot.
The diegetic sound is of the natural sounds such as the birds and whistle from the teacher.
